The Meera Center is a community based Early Childhood Development(ECD) center that provides services to the community by offering a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment essential or the holistic development for children under 5 years of age.

Meera Center aims to increase children’s access to quality ECD facilities, focusing on aspect of stimulating and appropriate environment in terms of care, education and health care. The programmes for children below 3 years of age aims to provide exposure to concept of education and health care services. Similarly, the programmes for children age 4-5 years focuses on supporting them in transitioning to school and preventing drop out.

Likewise, one of the main goals of the center is to increase the knowledge of parents/care-taker on best parenting practices for home-based parental supports, and to create a ‘one-stop shop’ of information and advice on services for children and families, while also facilitating outreach for the community.
