    UNICEF, in partnership with Childreach Nepal offers the Graduate Student Research Grant (GSRG). The GSRG will award grants up to Nepali Rs.1,00,000 (One Lakh Rupees) and strategic mentoring services to current Masters, M.Phil and Doctoral Degree students for their thesis and dissertation studies on issues related to UNICEF’s mandate.

    Since a huge earthquake struck Nepal on 25 April 2015, Childreach Nepal have reached over 2,500 households with emergency aid in Sindhupalchowk district. Childreach Nepal have created 24 temporary learning centres enabling over 4,000 children to continue their education and be safe from child trafficking and other forms of abuse.

    Here is the latest on our emergency response:

    We have two staff members (Sophia and Simone) in the office receiving and coordinating volunteers and donations from our networks in Nepal (If you are in Kathmandu and want to help go to our facebook page for details). They are also talking to relief agencies to coordinate our efforts.
