Introduction
Childreach Nepal’s GOAL-S project is being implemented in 7 schools in PanchPokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality, Sindupalchok. The project aims to safeguard children from all forms of abuse and create a safe space where they are less vulnerable to child abuse, while working closely with local communities to help them understand the child protection issues and methods to mitigate them. The project also brings innovation in encouraging teacher to expand their curricula using immersive play-based pedagogical techniques.
A social studies football curriculum which is being developed and piloted in 7 schools, will help the children understand the lessons in their social studies text book. One football festival/tournament will be organised which will bring together children and community member from all seven schools. The festival aims to raise awareness and inform communities on the cause and solution on child abuse.
Child protection and safeguarding training will be delivered to adults responsible for the care of children, the training will help adults understand the importance of developing child rights policies in schools and social institutions

3.Teachers are independently expanding their curricula using innovative, immersive play-based pedagogical techniques
- Weekly Sports for social impact sessions conducted by youth leaders at their respective schools.
